I am writing to you as the newly appointed President of the Rotary Club of Delhi Southend. It is an honor to lead such a prestigious club, with a history of esteemed Past Presidents. I am both excited and a little nervous about taking on this role. Excited because it gives me the opportunity to lead such a renowned institution, and nervous because I was appointed Secretary without going through the usual progression process. However, I am guided by the Rotary Principle of Service Above Self, which has led me to this position. The Rotary International theme for the year 2023-24 is "Create Hope in the World," and I am determined to create hope for underprivileged children and other marginalized sections of our society. Our community projects will focus on education, water, health, sanitation, and the empowerment of girl children. Together, let's continue to create positive change and empower individuals to reach their full potential.
